A great way to reduce junk mail!
A dear friend in Charlottesville, Virginia, sent this along to me and I thought it was more than worthy to post on our ecoboard. At our homestead, we find that the majority of our mail these days is junk mail. I, personally, don’t mind coupons because I most definitely use those. But the other stuff is such a waste of time and a drain on our resources. I found this article amazing because I didn’t entirely understand the impact of junk mail until I read it. And as my friend says, if you’re not reading junk, it gives you a little more time to be with your family! =]

A great article on grass-fed meat…
Another stellar article from Mother Earth News, this is a great piece on grass-fed meat. I especially liked this article because Richard Manning explains that rather than having to completely shut down a huge sector of beef production, the goal would be to use the same amount of cattle but transfer them from feed lot to field. Just another example of how changes on everyone’s behalf can have a HUGE impact!
